On the hills I am barefoot, ankles rainbow-strung
with friendship, picking through scree.

In the streams I gather my skirts in
smiles, hug baby to my hip, sing to the fishes.

In the valley I bathe in shade, stuff pockets
with berries, practise echoes.

In the forest I birth fire in hollows
spark leaves to life, humming like wind.

In the clouds I am a paper swan,
worries gather, silent as rain.
